The provincial government has directed the deputy commissioners to ensure flood arrangements ahead of time, but it has been reported that the WASA Lahore department has not yet cleaned the city's drains and gutters in view of the monsoon rains. The piles are frozen, in addition to the Ravi River in Lahore, not only farming is going on at various places, but also animal pens have been established, even solid structures have been built inside the Ravi River, but the Lahore Metropolitan Municipality is still in this regard. I took no action.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains with strong and cold winds and thundershowers in Lahore and surrounding areas during the next 24 hours. The meteorological department said the rains would continue till the end of June.
